Physical Inventory System
This asset is suitable for any kind of game.
This type of storage system is rarely seen as it's clunky and rigidbody objects tend to only fit in a certain genre of game.
But just imagine all the possibilities this system could bring to your game. The immersivity this could add to your game. As well as all the new interactions your players could think.
- Playing alone, grabbing that apple from your bag to eat it would be more immersive if you could see yourself grab the apple instead of a little square with an icon.
- Playing with (or against) friends would be so much funnier if you could steal the actual physical items from your friends opened bags. Or even just pick up the item from the chest before your friend can. So much more interactions between the players and the digital physical world.
The asset includes :
- OrbitCamera.cs script for the camera
- GameController.cs for the New Input System
- PlayerMasterMov.cs for the player movement and actions
- 9 custom scripts for the Inventory system
- CanvasCamera.cs to set camera on all canvas
- CustomImage.cs to create a custom grid
- CustomImageEditor.cs to spawn the custom grid
- Items model : Sword and Cudgel
- Bag model and lowpoly bag (for the collision) with animation
- Chest model with animation
